The Fortnite World Cup Finals arrived on July 26th and you’ll need some tickets if you are planning on attending. Fortunately, tickets can be purchased easily via Epic’s Ticketmaster web page!
The Fortnite World Cup Online Opens ended a few weeks ago, but the excitement isn’t over just yet. The FWC Finals approach at a blistering pace as we make our way through July.
The Finals take place from July 26 to July 28 and feature a wide array of activities as part of the Fortnite festival. In order to enter the event, you’ll need to obtain a ticket. Epic Games has set up a site specifically tailored to get you there without hassle.
Purchasing Tickets for Fortnite World Cup Finals
Organizing major events on the scale of the World Cup Finals is certainly difficult. Epic Games will be running the entire event, but have contracted Ticketmaster to assist them with ticketing services. You’re probably familiar with it if you’ve ever attending a sporting event in the US.
If you plan attending the ground-breaking event, you’ll need to grab a ticket before they are all gone. Epic Games did run a pre-registration event for tickets and even sold out the first wave of tickets extremely quickly. However, the studio held onto an additional wave of tickets until now.
To purchase tickets, head to the Fortnite World Cup Finals Ticketmaster page. Once there, you’ll be able to select seating and evaluate prices. Naturally, the “best” seats in the lower sections have been taken in earlier waves, but it’s less important for esports events than for traditional sports.
From our study of the site, you can expect prices of $50.00 or $100.00 (plus taxes) depending on the section you want.
These prices will probably stay the same until the end of ticket sales. Epic Games warns against purchasing from any other source as Ticketmaster is the only legit site for purchasing these tickets. You’re on your own if you decide to try and get a better price from a reseller.
Before the event, Epic Games will contact ticket holders about obtaining and registering their Battle Pass wristband. This wristband will be picked up at the event and will allow you access to exclusive in-game content, keep track of festival activities, and more. You’ll receive additional details shortly after purchasing a ticket.
You can also watch the event from home (or anywhere with an internet connection) if you can’t attend. Epic Games will be live-streaming the Finals to Twitch, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms.
Alright, we have to ask, will you be attending the Fortnite World Cup Finals? The event will be the biggest esports competition in history by prize pool with $30,000,000 dollars on the line. If you love Fortnite esports, you’re not going to want to miss the action.
